And for classroom treats for kids, you can't ever go wrong with marshmallow pops in Valentines colors. Make a batch for the whole class in an hour or so and wrap them in cellophane or a ziploc with the zipper cut off. Tie some ribbon around it....
add a sweet tag and you're go to go!
Ben wanted to say something sweet to his Valentines…. not.
The dynamite was made from Rollo’s candy rolled with red paper. The wick is a bit of black licorice and we tied up the bundle with some black pipe cleaner (because that’s what I had on hand.) This Valentine could have read, “You’re Dynamite!” or “You’re a Blast”…. but Ben wanted it to read “You’re the Bomb.”

Card/Poster Steps:
1. Cut a large heart from the poster board or foam board.
2. Glue ribbon around the edge of the heart.
3. Write the poem onto the heart, or print out the poem and cut out the words, then glue each word onto the heart with a glue stick, leaving space for the candy bars.
4. Glue the candy bars to the heart, with glue dots or hot glue.

Bouquet Steps:
1. Fill a flower pot with foam.
2. Cover the foam with shredded paper.
3. Glue the candy bars onto the skewers, and tie ribbon around the skewers at the base of the candy bars.
4. Push the skewered candy bars into the foam, arranging so that you can read the names of the candy.
5. Print out the poem, cut it into the shape of a heart, and glue to red paper, cutting around the edge for a border. Punch holes around the edge to make a lacey effect.
